VACATION COURSES

For every student coming to our school we provide family accommodation. It gives more opportunities for students to talk to native speakers, to use language in real-life situations and to make new friends.
Host families are carefully selected and many have opened their homes to overseas guests for a number of years. A vacation student will usually be expected to share a room with another student. No more than two students will be accommodated in the same room.
We have contracts with host families which clearly set out the degree of care we insist on for our students.
You will be part of an English family which is probably the best way to learn about the language and culture of Great Britain. There are also lots of opportunities to practice English out of school with real people in real situations.
You will have three meals daily on week days, and three meals daily at weekends (breakfast, supper and packed lunch).
You will find that living with a host family provides the opportunity for added cross-cultural and English learning.
OTHER COURSES
The school recommends that an adult student (18+) stays with a family, because of the advantages in extra language practice and cultural understanding. A selection of guest-house and hotel accommodation is also available upon request, or students may make their own arrangements.
