Aizhan Kaidarova

Aizhan gained an honours degree in English Language Teaching (B.A.) at Semey State University , Kazakhstan . She assisted Jamal Mahavi in setting up the school in 2004. Over the past year, Aizhan has been awarded OCR Level 1 Certificate in Bookkeeping, and the ECDL Certificate in I.T.

JAMAL MAHAVI MSc (Master of Science in Information Technology)

Principal

Jamal started Mahavi’s International English Language School in 2001, and supervised its move into the present building in 2004. After an early business background, Jamal entered the field of IT and obtained an M.Sc. in Computer Information Technology from Idaho’s Almeda University. An ex-professional footballer, he still retains his enthusiasm for and interest in the game.

Corrina Bouch
Academic Management Team, Teacher

Corrina studied Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at Golders Green College in London and after gaining her TESOL qualification she was invited by the college to stay on there as a teacher.
Having got more teaching experience in Hastings , specializing in teaching young students, Corrina went to the Ukraine , where she set up a school for both adults and young learners. Corrina came back to Hastings earlier this year, and has placed her wide experience at the service of Mahavi's.

Irina
Activity Leader

Irina joined Mahavi’s International English Language School in 2001 in 2004.
She moved into tourism eleven years ago from a Construction & Production Engineering background. She enjoys reading and cooking, and has a keen interest in fashion. She likes to keep fit by way of long walks in the countryside.
